Welcome to the BUCEA Platform, a digital educational platform affiliated with Aqeeq Al-Khazama Company (the investment arm of Al Baha University), operated in partnership with the Institute of Studies and Advisory Services and the Applied College at Al Baha University.
These terms and conditions govern your use of the platform and all academic, training programs, and electronic services offered through it. Creating an account, enrolling in any program, or using any of the platform's services constitutes your explicit and final agreement to all provisions in these terms, as well as relevant policies and regulations. If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not use the platform or any of its services.
The BUCEA platform is an e-learning platform specializing in the fields of entertainment arts and creative industries. It aims to prepare qualified national personnel in accordance with the best international standards and aligned with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. The platform provides, including but not limited to, the following programs and services:
Academic and professional diplomas.
Professional training programs.
Professional certifications.
Training workshops and bootcamps.
E-learning content.
Live and recorded virtual sessions.
Online exams and assessments.
Issuance of accredited digital certificates.
The user agrees to the following:
Accuracy of Data: Providing correct, complete, and updated information, including for example:
Full name.
National ID or Iqama number.
Contact details.
Email address.
Any other information requested by the platform.
The user bears full responsibility for the accuracy of this data.
Personal Account: The account is designated for personal use only and it is strictly prohibited to:
Share username or password.
Enable any other person to use the account.
Create fake or multiple accounts to circumvent the platform’s systems.
Account Security: The user assumes full responsibility for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
All activities conducted through their account.
Immediately notifying the platform upon suspecting any unauthorized use.
The user agrees to use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and instructions. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
Hacking or attempting to hack the platform.
Disrupting services or affecting platform performance.
Publishing any content violating regulations or public decency.
Impersonating any user or entity.
Using software or tools that compromise platform integrity.
Misusing artificial intelligence services or evaluation tools.
Any unauthorized commercial use.
The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account without prior notice upon proof of any violation.
Content Ownership: All rights related to content published on the platform—including:
Curricula
Lectures
Recordings
Exams
Designs
Videos
Images
Software
Trademarks
Logos
Databases
—are protected intellectual property owned by the platform and safeguarded by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prohibition of Copying or Publishing: The following are strictly prohibited without prior written consent:
Taking screenshots.
Recording lectures.
Republishing content.
Sharing links to paid content.
Copying educational materials.
Reselling content.
Using content for any commercial purpose.
Student Projects: Intellectual property rights for original projects created by students remain with their creators, while granting the platform a non-exclusive right to:
Display projects.
Use them for educational purposes.
Promote programs.
Participate in competitions and exhibitions.
Develop projects in coordination with the owners whenever it serves the interest of the student or program.
No student may use, copy, or repurpose others' projects without the consent of the respective owners.
Tuition Fees: Tuition fees for each program are specified upon announcement. Enrollment is considered final after completing admission procedures and paying required fees.
Payment Methods: The platform offers approved electronic payment methods. Payment may be made:
In a single lump sum.
Or according to approved installment plans.
Late Payment: In case of failure to settle financial obligations within specified deadlines, the platform reserves the right to take any of the following measures:
Suspend the account.
Block access to content.
Withhold examination results.
Suspend certificate issuance.
Cancel enrollment.
The following policy applies to the paid semester:
Registration Fee: The registration fee of 300 SAR is a non-refundable administrative fee and forms part of the total tuition payable.
Before the Start of Study: The student is entitled to a full tuition refund (minus the registration fee) if:
The university cancels the program.
Or the student withdraws before the start of study.
First Week: Upon withdrawal during the first week:
A 10% deduction from tuition fees applies.
Second Week: Upon withdrawal during the second week:
A 50% deduction from tuition fees applies.
After the Second Week: The student is not entitled to claim any refund after the end of the second week of the semester.
The platform strives to deliver services at the highest quality levels; however, it does not guarantee completely uninterrupted service. Certain services may be temporarily suspended due to:
Maintenance work.
System updates.
Technical glitches.
Circumstances beyond control.
The platform assumes no liability for any losses resulting from such conditions.
Electronic certificates are issued upon fulfilling all academic and financial requirements in accordance with university-approved regulations. Certificates may not be used, modified, or forged in any manner; doing so constitutes a violation subject to legal action.
The platform is committed to safeguarding user data privacy and processing it according to laws and regulations enforced in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The user consents to the use of their data for:
Managing the educational process.
Issuing certificates.
Improving services.
Academic and administrative communication.
Reporting and statistics.
Legal and regulatory obligations.
Data will not be shared with any third party unless:
Required by law.
Required to deliver the service.
Explicitly consented to by the user.
The platform bears no responsibility for:
User misuse of the account.
Loss of password.
Outages resulting from user devices or internet connectivity.
Any unauthorized account access due to user negligence.
Any indirect damages or consequential losses arising from using the platform, to the extent permitted by law.
The platform may suspend or cancel any account upon violation of these terms or suspected misuse, without prejudice to its right to take legal action to claim compensation or protect its rights.
The platform reserves the right to amend or update these terms at any time to align with operational or legal developments. Amendments become effective on the date of publication, and continued use of the platform after publication constitutes implicit consent to the updated terms.
These terms, along with the rights and obligations arising hereunder, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jurisdiction for any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall belong to the competent courts and judicial authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless applicable laws dictate otherwise.
